The Club offers four sets of Awards to Pomeranian dogs:
Register of Merit (ROM)
Register of Merit Excellent (ROMX)
Versatility Award (VA)
Top Dog Certificates at the end of each year, in both Conformation and Performance.
Each of these awards is described below.
Register of Merit (ROM);
Register of Merit Excellent (ROMX) and Register of Merit Supreme (ROMS)
The Pomeranian Club of Canada offers the ROM, ROMX and ROMS awards to recognize champion-producing sires and dams.
These awards are available to dogs whether living or deceased.
The following eligibility requirements govern the awarding of ROM, ROMX and/or ROMS awards:
Register of Merit (ROM):
DOGS: 6 or more titled offspring. BITCHES: 4 or more titled offspring.
Register of Merit Excellent (ROMX):
DOGS: 10 or more titled offspring. BITCHES: 6 or more titled offspring.
Register Of Merit Supreme (ROMS)
DOGS: 16 or more titled offspring. BITCHES: 10 or more titled offspring
Titled Offspring: A title comes from bench (CH.), obedience (CD), tracking (TD) or (VST), or agility (NA)
Only the first obedience, tracking or agility title is credited towards meeting the ROM/X/S requirements.
